Amazon is a gift, and a curse. We all know this.

However, you may have already discovered that from an event standpoint, Amazon is just simply a gift… that just keeps giving! Yeah, yeah, yeah, we know your partner keeps making mention of all of those boxes that keep delivering and you know your delivery driver by first name. I see you. I hear you. I respect you.

You needed that luxx robe for getting ready the morning of your wedding. Your planner said so! I mean, come on, it is one of the most remembered days of your life, you must look fabulous.

Now let’s talk favorites.

Table Runners

This is a great way to add a ltitle bit of color and texture to your guest tables or auxiliary tables (cards and gifts, memory, dessert, etc.) These runners add a really beautiful, romantic feel to any event or gathering so if you get into a last minute pickle, or you would like to have some extra decor on hand, these cheesecloth runners are a MUST have!

Glass Candle Votives

Hosley Brand is one of our go-to for clear votives. They come in larger quantities with the candle already in place so all you need to do is set and light these. You can also use them as inserts for larger candle votives.

I also love (and prefer) the look of these ribbed glass votives. The way this glass reflects light adds another romantic touch to your tablescape. This vintage votive is another great option. You want to plan to have at least 3-5 per guest table setting at rounds for 7+ per tables for banquet tables, depending on size.

Make sure you confirm whether or not the candle is included with your votive purchase. We are very picky about the votive candles we use. If you opt for the mini tea lights, keep in mind, these will only burn for about 3 hours. We do not recommend these for larger or longer events. Opt for the extended burn time 8-hour tea lights. Better safe than sorry!

Table Number Frames

If your budget is endless, you can probably work in beautiful table numbers. Maybe table numbers are just not important to you, for they are one of the first pieces to come down at the end of the night. A really great alternative is to purchase a template off of Etsy and use a photoframe for your table numbers. This way, after your wedding, you already have frames for your wedding photos.

If you’re going for a boho/natural look, this wood-frame option is perfect. This floating gold frame is another great option if you are using gold accents at your event. For something more whimsical, check out this white double sided frame. A plain black frame with mat is another really great option for table numbers to later be used for wedding photos.

wedding Cardbox

There are so many card box options but our biggest pet peeve is a card box that doesn’t allow for a large enough opening to insert cards! Amazon has some really great options but this terrarium-inspired gold cardbox is definitely one of our favorites that includes a locking mechanism.

We sometimes like to think “outside of the box,” literally, by using anything but a box to house your cards. This works best if your venue is in a secure location but something like this Wood Acacia Bowl would add to a natural event aesthetic. Some clients have even used a Trifle Bowl for their cards. If you’re feeling a little funky, maybe consider a Disco Ball Ice Bucket as a card bowl.

Dessert Displays

If you’ve opted for mini desserts, you will want to check with your baker to see if they are providing dessert displays or if that is something you will need to bring along with you for your coordinator to set-up.

I always suggest picking items that you would plan to use in your home long after the wedding. This is why staying true to your aesthetic is so important! For a vintage look, check out these Ceramic Tiered Cupcake stands - the best part is - it comes in a two pack!

If you’re going for an ulta-modern look, you could check out this Acrylic Mini Dessert Stand. Perfect for dessert shooters or cake pops! If luxury is your vibe, this Marble Tiered Cupcake stand is gorgeous and would be an eye-catching accent to your dessert table.
